Meet Andrew McCarty

Andrew McCarty was born and raised in Tyler and is proud to serve the East Texas community he has always called home. He earned both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude and finishing in the top 10% of his class. During law school, he served as a Note & Comment Editor for the Texas A&M Law Review and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif, the nation’s most prestigious scholastic honor society for law graduates.

Andrew gained valuable experience clerking for federal judges in both the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. After graduating, he joined the Houston office of one of the largest law firms in Texas, where he focused on complex fiduciary and business litigation. His practice included trust and estate disputes, will contests, and business conflicts involving partners, company members, and shareholders, as well as other high‑stakes civil litigation matters.
